I always thought these boots where slightly lower than the Reactor series - I will provide boot height measurement...

Rico your skates should be easy to punch they have no cowling - my sons bump is on the outside of one of his heels and just where the Bauer cowling ends and the boot begins but we get it done.

Will be going through this exercise again with his most recent set of Bauer Reactor 9000's...

However the skate will always end up rubbing on the screws so I will also tape the Prolace bridge. I will be setting up my sons pads this weekend was waiting to have all...

  • SBR the other factor that you are forgetting is that the VH skate is cowlingless this also improves the angle by which the goalie is able to plant an edge. The blade is probably not as high due to the fact that the holder is already 1/2 inch higher vs a Bauer cowling!

    It would interesting...

    GG

Maybe they are beefed up vs what is sold at the retail level?

Possibly some goalies might wear padded underwear?

You bring up an interesting point possibly someone can add a more valuable comment than mine?...
