  • Show Off Your Action Videos

I guess after having a "show off your action photos" we could have a video thread. So here's mine to start it. The videos were shot last year when I started playing hockey in the MHL (montreal hockey league) so there is a lot of mistakes in stance and positionning...I had never played on a team before nor had an instructor. My game got a lot better since.

Gather round thee and gaze upon the horror of my first summer of playing goal. Really only the first half. I wish I could get some more video taken possibly next week as my game has really picked up with the near constant hockey i've been playing. Just wish I could get on a team both tryouts i've been to i've just not been able to get in the game.

In chronological order first 6 are short.

I have a bunch of short clips that need to be edited and pieced together. Anyone recommend a good FREE program to do this?

Email em to me, I'll whip it up in about an hour.

I'll even add a snazzy song to it

Hunster, wow that was fast... it looked like the video was sped up, though, from watching the pucks bounce. I've never seen the way they bounce on any surface other than ice, though, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

Foxton - what about combining some of those clips into one? I made my way through three or four, but it was starting to get tedious.

That said, here are two of mine. The first one's about 5 minutes, the second one closer to 10.

I've gotten comments on YouTube that I play too conservatively. I've noticed that as well. It's most likely because the crease, rings, dots and other markings vanished from this rink years ago.

It's definitely quite an improvement from this. Thanks to crazee for immortalizing my "worst goal ever" video:
