  • Vaughn V Elite catching glove

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to try the new Vaughn V Elite glove?
Ive heard its similar to the 5500 which everyone seems to love.

Im trying to decide between it and the V7 pro carbon XF.
    I currently have a V6 2200 which i like.
No chance to try it on before i purchase it.
    Any suggestions would be great.
    Thanks

I liked what I saw when I tried it on. It's very comfortable and fappy. That being said. I don't remember what the 2200 is like, but I relate it more to the LT90 feel.

Thanks.Have you tried the V7 pro carbon XF?
Just wondering if their is much difference. Im leaning toward it due to the double T.
      Thanks for the reply

I'd go the Elite. The double T isn't going to make that big of a difference. It's got a thinner T as well, so it's all good. I don't like the 2200 and XR because the hand angle is weird =p

I'd also look into the SLR. Great glove.

If you had the V6 2200 and liked it, why wouldn't you go with the V7 XR? I had the V6 2000 and now the V7 XF and they basically seem like the same glove.

I think i actually have the V6 2000 as well. not the 2200. Although it has a single tee. It was purchased used from a goalie in the QMJHL. No markings on it.
I am leaning toward the V7 XF. Just wish i could try them on. The V elite looks nice as well
